Challenge

The features of original accessories of large special type of vehicles are large volume and load. Before utilized the AMR, materials transportation achieved by drivers on factories’ internal paths in fixed plant area with fuel vehicles back and forth every day. As the monotonous and of high intensity work has to be repeated the whole-day, the difficulty of employing drivers has existed for a time.


Solution

The customer has deployed several 20T rated load sides opening stored unmanned robots, 1.5T rated load magnetic stripe navigation AGV and CLOUDIA robot fleet management system of IPLUSMOBOT. The advanced GNSS + laser SLAM + vision + millimeter-wave radar + IMU outdoor integrated navigation technology of IPLUSMOBOT in the field, which has been verified through large scale application, and it functions well in the condition of unmanned operation in the weather of frequent light rain. The sides opening design of the AMR structure protects materials being transported from rain. Multiple safety security sensors ensure the fleet to operate stably. The heavy load AMR and magnetic navigation AGV of the program share the same fleet management system, which achieves the efficiency and collaboration of multi-type robots, and the production logistics in the whole process can be traced.


Improvement

Driverless AMR and magnetic stripe AGV fleets operate efficiently and collaboratively, which achieves automatic transportation of 20Ton-class materials in the condition of unmanned intervention. The logistics distribution efficiency, yield and the productivity of the production lines have been raised.
