Challenges
The 58,000㎡ factory site constructed by the customer, contains 16 automatic production lines and 9 tiered warehouses, so the transfer task of the materials is heavy, and precise docking is needed. Inside the production plants, various operation scenes, such as tiered warehouses, ultra-heavy load, ultra-low AMR body, high speed, dust-free, narrow aisle, have extremely high requirements for the equipment performance of AMR.
Solution
The customer has deployed the whole set of IPLUSMOBOT intelligent manufacturing logistics solution which consists of tens of 500kg rated load tiered warehouse docking AMR + intelligent unmanned forklifts + automatic charging station + fleet management system + MCS material management system + seamless connection WMS warehouse management system.
Every laser navigation AMR of IPLUSMOBOT adopts distributed map storage mode, which easily accomplishes man-machine co-work within over 1,000,000㎡factory site. The robots adopted by the customer are dedicated EMMA mobile robots of IPLUSMOBOT, which are especially designed for the scene of tiered warehouses seamless connection, which accomplishes automatic docking with nearly 50 fixed warehouse platforms or chain machines on the site, and the precision can reach ±5mm. The rated load of EMMA1000 reaches 1,200kg, whose advanced self-adaptive omnidirectional motion system can accomplish flexible omnidirectional motion. The dispatching system CLOUDIA dispatches all AMRs uniformly, which ensures the avoidance of routine conflict of tens of AMR when they are fulfilling operation task effectively and collaboratively.
Improvement
It has promoted wide appliance of AMR in power equipment industry effectively, helped the customer solve the pain point of traditional logistics management in the industry to a great extent, and achieved the complete automation with high reliability of logistics in the whole plant. By practical calculation, after the program has been carried out, the overall productivity of the customer’s plant increases by 81.82%, the operation cost decreases by 21.54%, the design period of products has been shorten by 31.4% and the reject ratio of products decreases by 59.05% as well as the energy utilization efficiency increases by 13.16%.
